- What is the Barnes Installation Group?
The Barnes Installation Group (BIG) are installers specialising in domestic bathroom installation. Combined, our installation teams have literally hundreds of years experience installing different products from a huge range of suppliers.
- What is the usual process for a Barnes Installation Project?
Usually, once you've made contact with us we will arrange to meet you on site in order to discuss your needs and generate an accurate quotation for the works. We will send this to you via email within a few days of the visit.
Once you decide to proceed and your deposit is paid, we will confirm an installation date with you and work with your and your retailer to ensure delivery dates for products etc
On completion, we will do a full check of the works and ensure you are 100% happy with everything. Once we have signed the project off together, we take the outstanding payment and your two year warranty certificate will be sent to you.
- What areas do you cover?
We cover all of London (Within M25) as well as Essex, Herfordshire, Kent, Sussex and Surrey. If you are outside these areas, we may still be able to help, just give us a call on 0203 488 3130 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
- What are your payment terms?
Once you've accepted our quote, we ask for a 30% deposit in order to secure an installation date. The remaining 70% is payable upon project completion.
Payment can be made either via bank transfer, or we accept all major credit and debit cards
- What sort of guarantee do you give?
All of our work is covered by a two year workmanship warranty.
- Do you just install bathrooms?
No! Whilst we are a bathroom specialist, we are able to take on other domestic projects, such as kitchens, loft conversions etc - If you would like to discuss further please give us a call on 0203 488 3130 or email email@example.com
- How do I know you will protect my home?
All our installers will use floor protection and cover vulnerable areas to avoid any damage to your home. We will do all we can to keep disruption to a minimum. Our installers will treat your home like their own and we want you to be as comfortable as possible whilst works are going on.
We will discuss this with you on survey and if there are any further steps wou would like us to take just ask and we'll do all we can to accomodate you.
All our installers have up to date Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks so you can be confident in the people in your home.
- Are your installers DBS checked?
Yes, all our installers and representatives have to produce a current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check before they are permitted to work with us.
- Are you insured?
We are covered by a £5 million public liability insurance policy.
- What happens to all the rubbish?
Our fully licensed rubbish contractors will remove the rubbish at the end of your project. Some projects may require more than one collection, and we will discuss this on survey with you.
- How long do works take?
There is no exact answer to that as every project is different, but as a rule, we suggest you allow approx two weeks for a bathroom project to be fully completed.
- Can you supply products as well as installation services?
Yes, we work with a number of retail partners and we can help you select the right products for you if you would like.
- Do you only do 'high end' projects?
We are experienced working with a huge range of clients at all different specification and budget levels. We treat every project with care, from the largest to the smallest.
